Salesforce Troubleshooting: Connection Error

Here are some common reasons you would get a Connection Error for the Salesforce integration and what steps you can take to fix the issue.

1. Go to Salesforce under the Alyce Administrator Page.

2. Ensure the permissions needed for authorizations in the Security Settings for the user who is trying to authorize the connection. Click Assign Alyce Integration User Permission Set

This error most likely m means that your email in Alyce does not match your Salesfoce email. Take these steps:

1. Confirm your Salesforce email address and update it in Alyce. Note: your username might be different, but it's the email address that is important.

2. Make sure you're logged out of all other Salesforce instances and that you're logged into the correct Salesforce account.

3. Make sure you're not emulating or impersonating a Salesforce integration user. You must be fully logged into the correct Salesforce account.
